Belly Dance For Fitness
People are always looking for new and fun ways to get in shape and stay in shape. You know it's true, 30 minutes on a treadmill feels like two hours and doing the same exercises day after day is SO boring! And then there's belly dance - fast and fun music, movement that feels natural to your body, what could be better? I started belly dancing as a way to get moving and get out of the gym (and off the couch!). Class time goes by so fast and never feels like 'working out'. If you are looking for a fun workout that works for every body, belly dance may just be for you! To find classes in your community, check with local belly dance groups, senior or community centers, colleges and universities, dance studios, gyms, or if you prefer there are many instructional DVDs geared to beginners.
